The room is very noisy ….. noise from the construction site beside is horrible. Can’t sleep at night without ear plugs …
Also there is only 1 lift … have to wait very long especially during morning rush hour ….
The shower water pressure is also very low ..

The hotel is terrible! This is probably my worst experience staying a the hotel.
1. Location: it is not convenient as you expect. It takes 10+ mins to walk from the closest metro/subway station.
2. This hotel has only one elevator, and you cannot take the stairs - this is a safety issue.
3. When we were checking in, they said the room will be a bit noisy (which they didn't specify before) due to the recent MTR construction. The noise would be started at 7 am until 11 pm .... We were "recommended" to add an extra fee to change a room to avoid the noise (we did later on).
4. It takes more than 30 mins to complete the check-in. They said that the only scanner for photocopying our ID info was broken, so they were trying to fix it... Meanwhile, nothing was proposed while we had to wait...
5. When we could finally go to our room and rest a bit, we found that the room door can be opened without using the key card, which terrified me. It turns out that the lock was broken. If we didn't test it beforehand, it means that ANYONE can enter our room????????? I cannot imagine what if it happens. We had to spend another half hour explaining to different staff the issue before we got switched room
6. Coming to the other room, a ceiling light was broken and I was afraid the glass would fall down
7. The shower head was covered by water stains. Also, the rooms were not well isolated. When people are drying their hair we could clearly hear from our room
8. Windows AND AC were open when we arrived in the rooms. This is really not environmentally friendly
9. I suspect the many positive reviews of this hotel here are manipulated by the hotel, as we heard at the front desk that there was a customer that the late-check-out fee can be waived if they leave positive reviews for the hotel.
People are nice (but not well-trained), but all the facilities are just way too old and lack maintenance.
Overall, the price DOES NOT justify what it offers. I don't recommend this hotel at all.

Very helpful staff. Excellent value for money breakfast and nice location for getting around Shenzhen. Eating options were limited but staff will bring delivery to your room. We’d definitely make a return visit if we were in the area.
